Passenger Equipment

The information I've been able to find on passenger equipment is quite limited. During its joint ownership by the New York Central and Canadian Pacific, the TH&B operated pool trains between Buffalo and Toronto, in conjunction with the parent railways. The passenger cars for this particular service were lettered "Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo Line", with the three railways' names below the belt rail at the middle of the car side.

The Michigan Central's name was replaced by the New York Central's name after the MCRR was merged into the parent railroad's operations in 1930.

The "Line" cars were reserved strictly for Toronto-Buffalo service, while the "Railway" cars were used for all other passenger services.

This service was discontinued in the 1950's, and some of the joint passenger equipment was purchased for use by the TH&B

TH&B Railway Passenger Equipment

The following table shows the cars that I believe were used in the joint NYC-CPR-TH&B "Line" service and then purchased from the pool for use by the TH&B Railway.
