TH&B-related Sites

Niagara Rails Paul Duncan's current photos on railways between Hamilton and Fort Erie (plus the odd shot outside the Niagara Region).
Canada Southern Railway Web Site A page on the Canada Southern, with a link to a good CASO photos site.
TH&B 103 at the Westfied Heritage Centre TH&B Consolidation no. 103 is under restoration at the Westfield Heritage Centre near Rockton, Ontario. Along with the locomotive, the centre is also home to a former TH&B van, Jerseyville station, and Summit "station". Well worth a visit in person.
TH&B Pelham Spur Part of the Niagara Greenways Network. Includes links to municipal and base maps (1:25,000 scale).
The Niagara Falls Railway Museum The NFRM is a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving the railway heritage of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. As of January 2004, there are some TH&B photos on the "Photo Gallery" page, and a photo of some TH&B materials on the "Our Collection" page.
The New York Central System A New York Central page with a list of related links.
The Buffalo Central Terminal page History of the Buffalo Central Terminal, a regular TH&B port of call.
Buffalo Central Terminal Restoration page Official site of the Buffalo Central Terminal Restoration Corportation.
Buffalo's Web Cam The only webcam of downtown Buffalo also includes maps, photos and other useful information on the Buffalo area. Not strictly rail-related, but probably a good site to bookmark if you're railfanning the Buffalo side of the border.
Penn Central Railroad Historical Society Preserving "the history of the railroad known as the Penn Central Transportation Company, including its people and equipment, its heritage before its formation in 1968, its all-too-brief life, and its slow fade into Conrail."
Ontario Rail Trails Ken Brown maintains this page, which includes information on the former TH&B Hamilton to Brantford line, which is now a public hiking/biking trail. I'd prefer that it was still an active rail line, but if it can't be, becoming a good hiking trail is not a terrible fate!
Ontario Railway History Page Rob Hughes is producing a fine resource page for gathering historical information on the many railways of the province of Ontario, past and present. His section on the TH&B is brief but informative. A good page to keep an eye on...
Rails in Toronto Paul Cordingly's page on rail activity in and around Toronto.
The Canadian Pacific Railway The home page of the CPR.
South Simcoe Railway A toursit railway in Tottenham, Ontario, home of a former TH&B passenger car.
Ontario Electric Railway Historical Association "We have examples of operating city streetcar systems as well as radial cars from Ontario and Montreal. We now have Lake Erie & Northern car 797 back in Canada. We will also be receiving this spring a Chicago "EL" car. These cars were one of the designs considered by Toronto for rolling stock for the Yonge St. subway."
